The Baptist Steglitz Congregation is pleased that this choir with its special repertoire has its home in their church, and so Shalom Chor Berlin has been rehearsing and singing here for more than 25 years.

Since 2014, Shalom Chor Berlin has been operating under the legal umbrella of Nachbarschaftsheim Schöneberg e.V. [Schöneberg neighbourhood community centre], a large local-level social organization with some 400 employees and about 1000 volunteers.
